Eri Saikawa Featured in “I am an Emory Researcher” Series

HERCULES Member Eri Saikawa was featured in the “I am an Emory Researcher” series. The piece opens with a summary of Dr. Saikawa’s HERCULES pilot project resulting in the discovery of high levels of lead contamination in the Atlanta English Avenue neighborhood, and subsequent designation as an EPA Superfund site.  Dr. Saikawa credits this work to her transition from an environmental scientist to a community scientist.  Read the full article about Dr. Saikawa’s impactful research here.
