HERCULES Researcher Michele Marcus Honored for Commitment to Michigan Residents Impacted by PBB Contamination

In May, Alma College hosted a commemoration event to honor those who advocated for Michigan residents impacted by the largest food contamination in US history and to highlight the ongoing commitment to understand the long-term impacts and protect the environment from such disasters in the future.  HERCULES Researcher and Emory Rollins School of Public Health Professor of Epidemiology, Michele Marcus, was one of those honored during the ceremony, for her ongoing work on the Michigan PBB cohort, a community-academic partnership focused on understanding the multi-generational impact of exposure to polybrominated biphenyls.
